What is vibratory pile driving?To drive piles into non-cohesive (especially, water-saturated) ground , it is necessary to use a vibratory pile driver. The method of vibratory pile driving is based on the fact, that friction and adhesive power are lessened under vibration of specific frequency and a pile, that transfer vibration to the ground, begins to sink. What technical equipment is used for vibratory pile driving?In the first place it is vibratory pile drivers indeed. Vibratory pile drivers are mechanisms, which transfer vibrations of specific frequency, amplitude and direction to submersible (or recoverable) elements to provide their sinking (recovering). The operation of pile drivers is based on an abrupt decreasing of the friction factor between the ground and surface of the submersible (recoverable) element under occurring vibrations.
